"The scrap gold market is currently infested by freeloaders and opportunists offering a fraction of true value to unsuspecting (and often 'not very bright') sellers who do not bother doing their homework on scrap values and accordingly get ripped off on price and quite often on weight as well. This company CAshForGold could hardly be more different! Good and current prices, excellent customer service, speedy and HONEST decisions and FAST payment. How will I know how much my gold is worth?
Simply refer to our daily gold prices on the right of this page or call us on 0208 446 8538 for an instant quote.

What if I have a mixture of carat gold?
We will give you the individual prices for the different gold carat that we receive from you.

What if my gold does not carry a hallmark?
As soon as we receive your gold we will analyse each carat and weight and then immediately contact you with our offer.

What happens if my gold weight does not agree with yours?
We have specialist gold scales and if there is any discrepancy on weight, we will notify you immediately before going any further.

How can I get my scrap gold to the howcashforgold?
We insist you send your gold to us in a sealed jiffy bag via Royal Mail Special Delivery. The starting insurance price is £250 cover. If your gold exceeds the above you can get cover for up to £2,500 per parcel from your Post Office. Once you have arranged your Special Delivery you can visit the Royal Mail Website here then enter your Code to track your parcel to ensure safe delivery.

How do I get the money for my gold scrap?
Once we have agreed a price, we can
a) send a cheque, same day, first class post
b) credit the value to designated credit card of your choice. This will incur a 2.5% handling fee
c) make a BACS / TT transfer payment to any account that you require. There may will be a charge from your bank, which we will notify you before the transaction takes place.
