Would they give me far less than the website quote, revise down the weight I'd given, tell me my gold was not up to scratch, take ages to make the payment? Second time I have used HCFG.......such a good service I would not go anywhere else even although one company was offering 10p more per gram on gold and silver but decided not to take the chance just incase. Got twice the price I had been quoted by a local jewellers and the money was in the bank within 40 hours (would have been quicker but slight glitch with bank details). Excellent service with very polite and courteous staff.

In my opinion this is the only company that anyone should deal with when selling unwanted gold; they are honest, pay the best price and the service is second to none. Your money is in your account the same day, and if you want they even send you a prepaid special delivery bag insured up to £500 if higher is needed you just pay a small difference at the post office

I was very satisfied by the quick,efficient courteous service I received. I sent off my unwanted bits and pieces which were received the next day,was called by Jonathan at 12pm the same day and money was in the bank by 3pm.You don't get more slick an operation than that! Most importantly they paid 258 pounds more than the best quote and I had really shopped around. I am very impressed and wouldn't bother going anywhere else. Just remember to take out extra insurance from the post office if vaue is above 500 pounds. It's not expensive -1.38 and worth it for peace of mind. Looking forward to a nice cruise with my cash!

I was very impressed with the service I received from this company. I got £305.19 for my first batch of gold which was mostly 22carat gold. Then I have just used them again with 50 grams of 22 carat gold bangles and got a wopping £1,231.00 for them. So use them they do what they say on the tin. Don't bother with the High Street jewellers, or other 'Sell your Gold" websites. I have used HCFG before & they continue to give the BEST prices. I received £164 (yes, honestly !) more than the best quoted price I was offered on the High Street, for my small items of gold jewellery. This company is 100% professional & do exactly what they say they will. My jewellery was posted on the Monday, I was contacted by Jonathon (charming guy !), on Tuesday morning & given the price offer & my money was in my bank account on Wednesday. 100% happy customer !!!

I looked on google search engine for all the best gold prices on diffrent websites. Alot of the others where offering far cheaper prices and wanting you to send the gold before you got the price. Which I think is wrong and not a good idea which they offer rubbish prices. On this ''how cash for gold'' website the prices are instant also the prices in grams are updated daily. The best price I could find online anywere was by ''how cash for gold'' I got my free parcel to send and within 24 hours I had a phone call then the money was sent to my bank account. The scrap gold market is currently infested by freeloaders and opportunists offering a fraction of true value to unsuspecting (and often 'not very bright') sellers who do not bother doing their homework on scrap values and accordingly get ripped off on price and quite often on weight as well. I would really reccomend this company as the one for getting the best deal around.I recently sent some gold to a competitor who offered me a paltry £128 which I refused and got my gold returned. The same amount of gold was valued at £163 by Howcashforgold and the money was in my bank the next day.

I was sceptical about sending £200 worth of gold to website/address id never dealt with before. However after a quick call i decided to send off my gold. I phoned the following morning and got confirmation of receipt and got a call around 2.30pm with a price, which i accepted. The price was lower than when i posted the items off as there had apparently been some movement in the gold market that day. Would definitely use again.

Absolutely SUPERB! Always thought if something sounds too good to be true, it normally is. Not in this case. I sent my gold away on Friday and my money was in my account by Monday afternoon. Whats more and i really need to tell people about this. I sent the same gold to one of the scrap gold companies on TV ( the American one!) they offered me just £77 which was a complete insult. Have you seen the BBC Breakfast news today? You put a lot of these TV advertisers to shame. I've used your firm a lot over the last six months and have always been thrilled by what you have offered - I've even got my mum and my sister into it, as well as a couple of work colleagues.In the next couple of days, I'm going to send off a gold chain that was attached to a Hunter watch - but I also have a spare Waltham 9 carat gold Hunter pocket watch from 1918 - this is clearly not an item for melting down. I sent my gold to a company in Barnett. I was sent a cheque for £153.00 which was an insult. It took a month to get my gold back which put me off all these companies as I thought they would all be up to the same scam. I tried this company as an afterthought and was made an offer of £895.00 for the same amount of gold. From sending my gold to getting the money in my account, took 3 days. I was really offended and asked the company to send it back straight away, It took them over 6 weeks from me sending it to them to having it returned. I then saw HCFG on the internet and sent my gold to them on the Friday, I was astonished to get a call from them on the Monday offering me £572. But after spoken to Tom and accepted the offer, i am sure i will be sending more of my gold to them in the future. After going to local stalls in shopping centres and being offered £270 and £330 for my old gold I searched companies on-line and found this site. After using their easy to use calculator and finding my gold was worth £453 I contacted company and not being to far away drove to their offices where I was made welcome and concluded a very easy transaction. What a fantastic service!, I never normally bother to leave feedback but the service was so exceptional I felt compelled to. Spoke to a lady on the phone one day she told me what to do, reassured me, and answered all my questions, send the gold off. Next day got a phone call with my quotes, which were better than other competitors, plus I recieved more than I thought I would (which to me shows how genuine they are) third day money was in the bank. I sent some gold to a company advertsing on the TV and was offered a very low amount of money (no quote was given). I searched the internet and found HFCG, who offered a quote in relation to the weight of the gold. I was very happy with the quote and sent it by special delivery. It arrived today, even with the postal strike. I had a very friendly telephone call confirming the amount, which I agreed to and had a BACS transfer within 3 hrs. Very, very pleased with the service - I consider it to be a small, more personal set up and would definately use again and recommend to anyone.

Again, like many people, I was not sure about using this method for selling my gold, but having read the great testimonials from previous sellers, I thought I would submit an online quote. I was surprised at how much my gold was worth so sent it the next day by special delivery. The following day I received a call to confirm the amount and the money was in my account two days later. Both my postal transaction and a personal visit to HCFG's office were handled with great efficiency and friendliness, resulting in excellent prices for my gold sold. There are so many 'cowboys' around advertising on TV and in national papers, who give no idea whatsoever what prices they would offer, unlike HCFG whose prices are clearly stated on their website daily. Earlier I had visited a company in a local hotel who offered less than half HCFG's prices and were quite snooty when I turned down their offer. Brilliant service - I have recommended HCFG to several friends and will continue to do so.

Weighed my gold at home and worked out what I thought it was worth, contacted HFCG and asked for a quote based on my findings. Decided to take the plunge and sent my gold via Royal Mail special delivery. A polite representative phoned me next day and made an offer which I was very happy with, he even informed me that one of the pieces was actually 22 karat gold, so I got more than anticipated.Money was transfered by BACS and in my account 2 days later, fantastic service.If I find any more gold at home, I will certainly use them again.

You would have to go a long long way to find another buyer of gold as good as "How cash for gold", and even then I doubt if you'd find one.My gold was sent on a Wednesday, and the cash was in my bank by Friday morning.As if that wasn't enough, the price agreed was almost £100 more than I'd been offered by other dealers (especially one in Cornwall). Just wanted to say howcashforgold were true to their word,I was a bit worried about sending my gold in the post but sure enough I received a phonecall about 24 hrs later offering me £285 for my gold which I had been offered £90 in my local jewellers and refused.I received my cheque 5 days later.I would definitely recommend that u do ur business with this company,I thought I was taking a chance but I ended up £195 better off what more can I say?
