I would really reccomend this company as the one for getting the best deal around.I recently sent some gold to a competitor who offered me a paltry £128 which I refused and got my gold returned. The same amount of gold was valued at £163 by Howcashforgold and the money was in my bank the next day.

Sent the rest the following week and got £600 put straight into my bank the next time - excellent service - guy really nice that phoned me! I was sceptical about sending £200 worth of gold to website/address id never dealt with before. However after a quick call i decided to send off my gold. I phoned the following morning and got confirmation of receipt and got a call around 2.30pm with a price, which i accepted. The price was lower than when i posted the items off as there had apparently been some movement in the gold market that day. Would definitely use again.

Absolutely SUPERB! Always thought if something sounds too good to be true, it normally is. Not in this case. I sent my gold away on Friday and my money was in my account by Monday afternoon. Whats more and i really need to tell people about this. I sent the same gold to one of the scrap gold companies on TV ( the American one!) they offered me just £77 which was a complete insult. Have you seen the BBC Breakfast news today? You put a lot of these TV advertisers to shame. I've used your firm a lot over the last six months and have always been thrilled by what you have offered - I've even got my mum and my sister into it, as well as a couple of work colleagues.In the next couple of days, I'm going to send off a gold chain that was attached to a Hunter watch - but I also have a spare Waltham 9 carat gold Hunter pocket watch from 1918 - this is clearly not an item for melting down. Is this something you deal with or could you suggest someone who does? I sent my gold to a company in Barnett. I was sent a cheque for £153.00 which was an insult. It took a month to get my gold back which put me off all these companies as I thought they would all be up to the same scam. I tried this company as an afterthought and was made an offer of £895.00 for the same amount of gold. From sending my gold to getting the money in my account, took 3 days. I had previously sent my gold to another company who offered me £95. I was really offended and asked the company to send it back straight away, It took them over 6 weeks from me sending it to them to having it returned. I then saw HCFG on the internet and sent my gold to them on the Friday, I was astonished to get a call from them on the Monday offering me £572. After going to local stalls in shopping centres and being offered £270 and £330 for my old gold I searched companies on-line and found this site. After using their easy to use calculator and finding my gold was worth £453 I contacted company and not being to far away drove to their offices where I was made welcome and concluded a very easy transaction. What a fantastic service!, I never normally bother to leave feedback but the service was so exceptional I felt compelled to. I sent some gold to a company advertsing on the TV and was offered a very low amount of money (no quote was given). I searched the internet and found HFCG, who offered a quote in relation to the weight of the gold. I was very happy with the quote and sent it by special delivery. It arrived today, even with the postal strike. I had a very friendly telephone call confirming the amount, which I agreed to and had a BACS transfer within 3 hrs. Very, very pleased with the service - I consider it to be a small, more personal set up and would definately use again and recommend to anyone.

Again, like many people, I was not sure about using this method for selling my gold, but having read the great testimonials from previous sellers, I thought I would submit an online quote. Both my postal transaction and a personal visit to HCFG's office were handled with great efficiency and friendliness, resulting in excellent prices for my gold sold. There are so many 'cowboys' around advertising on TV and in national papers, who give no idea whatsoever what prices they would offer, unlike HCFG whose prices are clearly stated on their website daily. Earlier I had visited a company in a local hotel who offered less than half HCFG's prices and were quite snooty when I turned down their offer. Brilliant service - I have recommended HCFG to several friends and will continue to do so.

Weighed my gold at home and worked out what I thought it was worth, contacted HFCG and asked for a quote based on my findings. Decided to take the plunge and sent my gold via Royal Mail special delivery. A polite representative phoned me next day and made an offer which I was very happy with, he even informed me that one of the pieces was actually 22 karat gold, so I got more than anticipated.Money was transfered by BACS and in my account 2 days later, fantastic service.If I find any more gold at home, I will certainly use them again.

You would have to go a long long way to find another buyer of gold as good as "How cash for gold", and even then I doubt if you'd find one.My gold was sent on a Wednesday, and the cash was in my bank by Friday morning.As if that wasn't enough, the price agreed was almost £100 more than I'd been offered by other dealers (especially one in Cornwall). I obtained a quote locally on Tuesday for my gold. Did a website search that evening and after comparing the many available sites I decided on H.C.F.G. Made online contact with them on Wednesday and posted my gold by Special Delivery. Received a phone call from them just after lunch Thursday. They confirmed the breakdown of the gold with an extremely slight weight adjustment which I fully expected due to the plus/minus accuracy of my scales. They then quoted their price which was identical to what I had obtained from their calculator tool, with no unforseen adjustments. The money was in my bank account first thing Friday. I was £192 better off than if I had accepted the £260 offered locally on Tuesday. Most highly recommended!!

I chose this site to sell my gold after a 'Google' search for info on all these on line gold buyers, I never found a bad word about this site "HCFG" & as they had the on line calculator & showed the price per gram I decided this is where I was going to send my old bits of 9ct gold. I was selling as I want to change to wearing silver jewellery now & thought this was an easy way to accomplish this. I weighed the gold using digital scales prior to posting, (I wasn't sure if 3 little bits were actually gold or not.) I received phone call the day after I posted and got the same deal as the on line calculator estimated, It was all excepted as 9ct gold, so very honest buyers.I sent gold on wed. got call to agree price on Thurs. money should have been in bank on Fri. unfortunately some error occurred & the cash wasn't in my bank. I phoned & informed HCFG of this on the Friday afternoon, they were very polite and helpful and they got the cash into my bank account on the Mon. morning. Well pleased that it WASN'T a rip off like some sites that are only paying £3. to £4 a gram. The rest of my gold is on its way as I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket, however I now know it would have been safe to do so. You can trust these buyers.

We were offered a paltry amount locally for a 9ct Gold Chain but then we found HCFG online. We were a little concerned at first that it was too good to be true and whether we would ever see our money but it was the complete opposite. We posted special delivery and received a call the next day with our money - a proper fair price. We cannot recommend the efficient service and ease enough.

The gold calculator on http://www.howcashforgold.co.uk/ indicated that we should expect around £2000 for our gold. Since we were worried about using an online service, we first visited a jeweller who apparently offers the "best price" in Glasgow. They offered us £770 after sending our gold to their workshop for a few days. So we decided to try an online service and sent our gold to “how cash for gold” around 5pm on Tuesday. Tom called at lunch time on Wednesday, offering just over £2000, and the money was in the bank on Thursday morning. Thanks for your excellent service and price!

Believe me, you will not be let down by this company. I posted my scrap gold on Wednesday, it arrived with HCFG on Thursday. I received a call on Thurday confirming the weight & value of my scrap. This company give me the amount they quoted on there website which was fantastic. They told me they would contact me as soon as they received my gold which they did.
